I've seen one of those. That man can get whooped up!
I've been in a corporate environment and been the recipient of such a get together too. All of us across the US were invited to a big to-do and then there were huge screens and corporate holy roller talk and physical shenanigans which was just uncomfortable to watch.
I went away sad and confused.
Then there was the more personal one where our manager came back from such an event and was obviously told to whoop us all up. I think the game plan was as follows:
Step 1: Whoop up employees with big pep talk.
Step 2: ????
Step 3: Big Profits!
All those folks got laid off and their jobs went to India shortly after I left the company. Guess they got stuck at Step 2. :P

Hm...starting to get the itch to expand the CoH Universe Section of my dA gallery. Any folks interested in some free art? Toss me a screenshot of your favorite character (headshot and full figure), and maybe...juuuuust maybe you'll get something. Dunno who will draw them yet, but whoever the artist ends up being, it'll look awesome. (Srsly, in terms of overall quality, my collection's one of the best around, I know what I'm doing.) No promises though. Selection's up to the artist(s). Offer extended to the Rookery first, for now. I'll take...hm....4 submissions.
