Primary or Secondary Powerset Inherents
An emote specific to whatever set/sets you took would be quite cool.
Standing around with a custom weapon out for weapon sets, like some of the enemy emotes in AE. /e littleblackcloud like you mentioned, stuff.

GG, I would tell you that "I am killing you with my mind", but I couldn't find an emoticon to properly express my sentiment.

A simple one: It's always annoyed me that my Ice/ blaster is as vulnerable to ice as every other schmuck. Adding minor resistance to their own damage type would be a good once for every elemental primary, though I can see where there would be balance concerns... and things like elec/elec brutes who really aren't hurting for another 10% energy resistance.
Having Vengeance and Fallout slotted for recharge means never having to say you're sorry.

The thing with melee sets is that they're already designed to have a bonus to whatever their element is. With possibly the sole exception of Dark Armor, which was designed weird.

Just a silly idea popping into my head while the servers are down. Forgive me if this isn't very complete.
I think it would be cool if your choice of Primary Powerset gave you a choice of a small power that added flavor or minor effectiveness to your character.
I really have no specifics other than one for Mind Control. I doubt it's even possible but it would be very cool to have Minor Telekinesis, which gives you the ability to manipulate Clickies at extended range.
Maybe Plant control could have added PvE Stealth when near any large plants (similar to the way superspeed works). Though come to think of it, that would probably mean coding every single map with numerous power generating objects near every plant, in order to determine if the player were in range.
The only other ideas I have involve emotes ( e littleblackcloud for Storm Summoning), but I have a hard time advocating for some sets to get something that is minorly useful and other sets getting something purely aesthetic.
I also have no good ideas for what a lot of Melee sets could get. Maybe one free unlockable weapon of your choice?
