Characters and their wardrobe
Cool subject, I always love making sets of costumes that make some kind of sense for the character.
Here's one, Foster's Revenge...
That's the baby chick version standing in front of the monsterous rooster end result.
ARRISA is a cool robotic character based in the Half Life/ Portal universe.
The first one is her 'human interaction' version - the scary face plate doesn't change even in character, it's always got that kind of manic grin.
The second one is the 'stripped down skin' version, before the human look is applied.
Third is her 'battle droid' costume, however it's been replaced with a cute Portal Turret halloween costume,
and before that had a tech wing option.
The last one is her scary-*** I Am Really A Robot, Remember? costume. Robots actually scare the bejesus out of me.
Gresilla Hagen is an immortal elf-like alien who came to earth, she's an old character of mine. This is my favorite outfit of hers:
Because it looks like she's the general of some massive army
This is her more casual Heroic looking outfit:
I need to get the others arranged properly, because she's got several different outfits than that now, including the lovely High Collar cape version:
Winter's True Spirit has always been one of my favorite characters. This is her 'Casual downtime' outfit
Her beautiful 'I'm A Spirit' version:
And probably my favorite, the Eastern Influence version:
This was her original look, which is still fun to play with.
Pretty much every character I've played more than 10 levels has at least 2 costumes on them. I need to gather the right images for a Trickster's Jackalope collage because his is very dramatic - he's a fire tank similar to the way that Winter is an ice/kin, with animal features and wings added on. But he's never gotten the hang of his fire, and winds up progressively burning his wings away. He doesn't fly with them anyway... like Winter, he leaps

And here's Trickster's Jackalope's progression:
He started out life ... well, sorta, as a jackrabbit and an antelope who were killed while struggling with barbed wire fencing in the mid-1800s. Unfortunately, when Crow and Coyote were taking bets as to what would happen, and they decided to revive the poor beasts, they hadn't realized there was also the body of a tribal man below. With these features all mixed in together, Crow also blessed this creature with large wings, and thus was Trickster's Jackalope born.
Over the years, he hid - two thirds of him was animal, after all, and evading humanity was a top priority. But then Winter's True Spirit caught up with him and summoned him to Paragon. He had to put on a somewhat respectable face after a while, in order to get his heroing licence.
During his time studying at Paragon's university, he began to learn more about his history and people, for he hadn't really remembered anything from his 'man-life'.
Because he was blessed by Coyote, the trickster in him sometimes shows more strongly than others. Jackalope cannot really control all the fire he makes all the time. And, often, good heroes go through 'bad boy' phases. This is him during one of his rather rough times... slightly singed wings, burning halo, and leather jacket - the girls like the leather jacket...
And finally, after helping to defeat otherworldly creatures and being exhausted, Jackalope cannot hold his fire back at all. Winter's soothing touch and her friend Rita the Retail Retali8r helped heal him back, but for a time, Jackalope had all but lost his wings - and adopted a 'crow' face for the duration as well.

Veterenatian-turned-mad-scientist Felicia Newton, who after accidentally growing fur dubbed herself Gravity Cat: Stylish bicolored trench coat for general villainy, lab coat for mad science, and the little black cocktail dress from under both of them for downtime.
I wish I could do away with the bolero on the last one, but I can't have both the little black dress and stripes on the arms, so the fur pattern ends up looking mismatched.
Here's a thread to show off all of your costume slots for a single character, perhaps a little description of the reasons for each costumes.
I'm gonna start with The Galvonic Man, essentially a steampunk version of The Six Million Dollar Man. His costume slots are basically optional armor pieces and galvonic limbs.
The Galvonic Man - default armor
The Galvonic Man - flight armor
The Galvonic Man - heavy armor
The Galvonic Man - off-duty
