Why were these removed?

Crey Hero Lab: Removed as of 5/5/2009 patch. Future disposition unknown
Forest (Burning): Removed as of 5/5/2009 patch. Future disposition unknown.

i just made story for the frist time and i knew they where there but now i got to change what i done for them to hopeful macth up, i just like to know what was the big deal in them being removed?

Generally, all such map removals were done because of issues with mob or object spawning. Things would spawn inside geometries and become stuck or unreachable by players, which would make arcs basically malfunction. Several such maps have been reworked for use in the architect and restored to service. Presumably all of the remaining ones are in some sort of work queue and will return someday.

I haven't been on to check for myself, and I don't know if the test patch made it live, but back in October, the Crey Hero Lab map was reworked and published to Test Server.

I dunno about the specific issue with the burning forest map, but I know I've had glowies spawn in midair on it. If you don't have a flight power, it's impossible to click =/

I'm annoyed about the removal of the burning forest. I wrote a story that involved that map for one of the missions. With the removal of that map my story no longer makes any sense.

Crey lab I'm pretty certain has been put back in, since that was the final map for one of my arcs, which got removed and then, recently, put back in.

Burning forest was removed because if you put a defeat all in it, the mission was unbeatable. The (untargetable) fires were counting as enemies.

Devs never noticed this in their missions because they don't have any defeat alls on it.
