What's up with Inert Gas?

Well I'd suggest leaving a reasonable bid (say 6k) up for 24hours and see what happens. The BUY IT NAO prices of a lot of of tier 1 and 2 salavage do tend to fluctuate a lot.
I think a lot of Inert Gas dropped during halloween event invasions: Zombie and Deadly. With non of these around, supply just dried up.
Mid range salvage of all sorts go through surges and lean times.
Partially it is related to invasions, where both Rikti and Zombies drop level 30 IOs and salvage.

I smell an invasion of praetoria for their inert gas coming on! =) lol
Over the weekend I saw a lot of crazy salvage price spikes for the items I am involved with.
I just left my regular bids in and got what I needed.
I'm not talking about BUYITNAO prices. well, except for the part where I tried getting some for 100k. Ive had several stacks of 10k bids in for almost 2 weeks now that havent picked up a single one.
In that case the end of Halloween is almost certainly your answer.

Ok, I know it's the holiday weekend and all, but the price on Inert Gas has actually been steadily goin up for about the last two weeks now. In the past I'd usually picked them up for around 1-10K. Last Weekend they spiked a bit, and I haven't been able to get any for those prices since then. Today, I couldn't get any for 100K. Yet I notice most of the other components I regularly by are still within thier normal price range- did something happen to the supply or demand of Inert Gas?
