Difference between BS and NIN same as Scrappers?
Chances are, with set bonuses and hasten running, you probably won't notice the .03 or .04 sec difference. Both sets have some knockup/down, both have a stacking def move, and both have a couple of cone attacks. All that's left is pretty much what kind of sword you want to use. BS has more unlockable swords. I might be missing info, but that's what I can gather off the top of my head.
I'd say, Broadsword for a more stalker type build for high bursting damage, Ninja Blade for dps scrappyer build.
I can say this, if you team a lot, the slower activation time of broadsword can get annoying as your attacks keep landing after a teammate kills the enemy.

I can be found, outside of paragon city here.
Thank you everyone at Paragon and on Virtue. When the lights go out in November, you'll find me on Razor Bunny.
With a maxed out +recharge build, Katana (or Ninja Blade for stalkers) will probably do more dps than Broadsword over the long haul. However, the higher damage per hit of a Broadsword can be an advantage for a Stalker, since much of their potency comes from (forced) criticals and ending battles within just a few strikes. If you're going to get double damage, you might as well get it on an attack that does more damage to double.
Rule number six of an empathy defender is NEVER underestimate a blaster's ability to die. I don't care if he has CM, Fort, both RAs, bubbles (both FF and Sonic), and is fighting next to a Storm defender with hurricane on. If there is a way to die in that situation, the blaster will find it.
I'm stuck between the two. I know that ninja blade has quicker recharge and less damage, whereas BS is slower but does more damage, IIRC.
What I'm wondering is if the recharge time that you can get with IOs can pretty much eliminate the difference between the two, and if you can actually get more mileage with BS because of the increased damage and eliminating the recharge difference.
For reference, I'll be doing mainly PvE and having nin as a secondary.
