I read somewhere that some controller holds supres the KB from Hurricane in the storm set.

Is this correct ? And what holds do supres it ?

Just wanna try build a controller with Hurricane but still be abel to get closer to those I hold.

And as an extra question, are there holds that can keep your targets held so that they are not repeld, not knocked back AND don't run from fear ?

Any advice ?

It's not the holds that prevent KB, it's usually the immobilizes. Most of the ST and AoE immobs from the controller sets also have a -KB component to them, which will help the enemies stay in the Hurricane. It's not that they suppress the KB from Hurricane, they just basically give the enemy some KB mag protection.

Also, holds prevent any running, as do Immobs, as long as they are strong enough to take effect on the mob in question. As such, if you're worried about the enemy running from Freezing Rain, as well as being knocked back by Hurricane, then I would take any of the following sets:

Plant
Fire
Earth
Ice

I believe, though someone please correct me if I'm wrong on this, that the Immobs in Gravity don't apply a -KB effect.

Some holds have -kb and some immobilization powers have -kb. Generally, in each case, it lasts for around 10 seconds, but that varies a bit. As to which powers have the -kb tag, that happens on a case by case basis. Unfortunately, there is no unilateral rule on that. The detailed power tab in game will tell you if a power has -kb or not, as well as sources such as Mids and City of Data.

None of these holds and immobilization powers suppress the repel effect of Hurricane, however. You simply learn how to work with the repel effect of the power. In tight spaces, that involves pinning enemies to walls, and in large spaces that involves circling the enemy. With practice, you can debuff and keep these enemies in a relatively fixed position.

A hold, by definition, would keep them from running due to the afraid effect of a power.

Correct. In Gravity, it is the holds that have -kb.

Worth nothing, but even -KB doesn't really help keep a target within range of Hurricane. Hurricane applies both KB and Repel, while the -KB applied by some controls only stops the KB portion, not the repel portion.

Correct, Gravity Control has the -KB swaped between the Holds and the Immobilizes, compared to other sets.
