Very cool!

It's been a really long time but I haven't forgotten you all or the contest art I started oh so long ago. I'd like to apologize to everyone still waiting on art from me for the disappearing act. Some times things just fall to pieces..

I know I had said in the OP of the contest that I'd work on and post each entry as they are listed in order of winners, but this one just called out to me. I had a very strong feeling of where I wanted to go with the character and it all came together perfectly.. So, here is White Clover. I have another already in Photoshop (the Underdog) and early sketch work started for another so I should be able to maintain a steady flow of character art and finally see this project to it's end.

I like her pose, but her eyes makes her look tired

Yeah, so.. I guess we can throw winning order out the window but at least I'm finally getting these done. O.o


Touche

Considering how well I think the first three in this project came out I feel like I've really let myself down with this one.. The line work for this character had been finished and sitting in photoshop for a long time and I think it was because I was never really happy with it. After a long break I was able to complete White clover and Touche before coming back to the Underdog and finally getting it done. There are elements to the picture I like but over all I think I did poor job on it and I apologize to R-tech for that. =(

I agree that Underdog isn't the nest of this group... But it is still darn fine great! I definitely don't think it's worth beating yourself up over... Sometimes things just don't vome out as perfectly as we'd hope and there's nothing to do but move on.

Besides, if that's you're worst piece you have nothing to worry about!

Thanks guys. Just one more to go and the first group of characters is done! There's two more from Hero Dawn (SG) members to come as an extension to the contest and I'm finished. I may add one or two of my own characters in this style once the contest winners have been finished.. still undecided.
