Can't make screenshot of SG base map

All,

I want to post pictures of my SG base. However, in order to completely appreciate it, I really need to show the floorplan first. When in the base I open the map window and press [Print Screen] to take the screenshot. But when I open the image file, it doesn't show the map window (or any other window - inspirations, power trays, etc.). Just my character standing there with the surrounding scenery.

I know that some people are able to do this, as I've seen screenshots that include all these other windows.

Any idea what setting(s) need to be changed?

You can go to your options/keymapping window and set a key to toggle the UI. Then, hit that key before taking your screenshot.
Once toggled, you don't need to hit it again unless you want to turn it off for a "clean" screenie.

The UI will automatically default to "off" when you've logged out, so the next time you need it on, you'll need to toggle it again.

or hit the windows key to open windows and you can take a screen shot that way to.

/bind sysrq "screenshotui 0$$screenshot"
/bind shift+sysrq "screenshotui 1$$screenshot"

Hitting print-screen will give you a UI-less screenshot, every time.
Hitting shift+print-screen will give you a UI-full screenshot, every time.

No goofy workarounds to deal with.

Just for fun, I did this:
/bind sysrq "screenshotui 0$$screenshot$$screenshotui 1$$screenshot"

That takes 2 pictures every time, one with the ui, and one without.

Since you're probably going to be editing or cropping the image ANYWAY, I usually bypass the CoH screenshot functionality completely.

Hitting the PrtScrn button takes a screenshot in CoH, but it ALSO captures exactly what is displayed on your monitor and saves it to the Windows clipboard. Then I open Photoshop and paste it into a blank canvas.

This process will always display the user interface. But if you WANT the interface in your image, this removes one step (and one 'lossy compression' save) from the overall process.
