The funny thing is. The "enough with the special events disrupting me life' attitude isn't just an in-game thing. I have more than a few friends who complain just about any time something pops up on the calendar that conflicts with what they normally do. To the point where they will be complaining in early Dec about Christmas and "just wish it was over already."

Right now, when I'm on I am either farming ToT doors with my scrapper since she has such an easy time of it or I am out GM hunting with my medic collecting more merits. All my toons have their Hallowe'en badges and free slot but I have no problem helping those who are still trying to get there. If an event starts I join the teams and do what I can to help out.
Looking forward to Christmas both in and out of game.

That's because, due to over-commercialization, Christmas now starts sometime in July.
