Yopu need to craft 17 recipes
8 of which MUST be level 25, but can be accuracy or tohit buff
8 of which MUST be level 30, but can be accuracy of tohit buff
The final one can be either 25 or 30 and either accuracy or tohit buff
Sounds like you should have it
What is your badge progress bar saying ?

what is x ?
Occasionally if you craft fast, the server can skip recognizing one.

I could try again like you said maybe the server didn't recognize some of my recipes, not sure? My last badge it shows is the Lt. Colonel Badge which comes right before the Colonel Badge.

My guess is that it was just a hiccup, but if it is saying 17 of 17 and not giving the badge, then it needs to be bugged

I have three field crafters and I can say from experience that there have been times I was short when I thought I had crafted what was necessary. (Edited to add: And there were a couple of times I thought I didn't have it when I already did, but it was buried below the other most recent badges!)
Hope this helps and good luck on getting your field crafter badge! It's a boon to have, although it takes a lot of work.
Ahem,.....Ahh, I think I figured it out. After further review, I may have bought the wrong level recipes. instead of getting the l level 25 and 30's I think I got the 30's and 40's...lol. Yes, it was late, and I was tired so I guess one shouldn't do the market when they are sleepy. So, with that being said, I went though and did it right and DID get the Colonel Badge and all is right with the world. 
Ah, that has happened to most of us I am sure.
Bit like the old days where you would carefully buy 10 SO from Ghost Falcon of the entirely wrong Origin.

Been working towards my Field Crafter Badge and having trouble for some reason with this one. Based on what paragon wiki states for this: "Craft 8 level 25 and 8 level 30 Common Accuracy enhancements (Accuracy and To Hit Buff) plus one additional level 25 or level 30."
So, with that being said, I got 8 level 25 accuracies and 9 level 30 accuracies. I think I even picked up another 8 To Hit Buff's not sure why but anyways, I still didn't get this badge. Am I reading this wrong when it says "and" versus "or" which would mean that I would need x(8) level 25 accuracies + x(8) level 25 To Hit Buffs + x(8) level 30 accuracies + x(8) level 30 To Hit Buffs PLUS one additional of either one,....would that be the case? If not,..then still not sure why I didn't get this badge? Any suggestions would be helpful.
