ya I don't see what the big deal is we still get to pay for a sub keep our stuffs and get more stuffs too so I guess, it doesn't really bother me other than the fact that its a little sad to see it end, but wait! I bet there is more in store 
and after reading the side by side comparison I see it as a savvy way to cut out 14 day trials while still enticing new players and introducing more people and keep people subbing. They kinda found a way to immortalize it for us! Hope y'all don't /ragequit on me 
VIP server and other thoughts- a place to go for those who like to try something new, an enticement for f2p players to sub, I highly doubt rmt spammers will be any more of a nuisance when f2p launches. What happens to a level pact when one player goes f2p ? is a wonderful question (not mine) , stuff like THAT is a valid concern but I'm sure all these little details are being ironed out, they've obviously been working on this for a very long time.
I smell a fourth game expansion...
And another thing, These new f2p players will be newbs, so they will need us around to show them the ropes, now most of you are pretty helpful people and we want them to sub right? so lets show them the game of a lifetime!
Don't worry Early no /em ragequit here... Lets just say I have been worried about the administration's choices since I13...
