I think you need 3.432s for the highest chain... and well, 3.56s isn't as good as 3.432s. You'll have a tiny gap and a bit lower DPS.

Whether the expensive IO needed to address the issue is worth it is a personal matter.
I'm not very familar with Kat, but the question I'd ask is that with that gap is the next best chain a better option or is the best Kat chain still better even with the pause?

I'd say a 0.1 second gap is barely noticeable especially if you don't queue attacks up as soon as the previous one has started animating.

I'm finally looking at IO sets and have a build I want to try for my Kat/SR. The build gives me 3.56s recharge in GD. I know 3.4s recharge is required for the highest DPS Kat attack chain. To me, this seems close enough. Would that be correct? I can easily get below 3.4s with a purple (Armageddon), but not sure it's worth it. The purple would be nice, and who knows.....someday.
