Grandville Day Job

Does anyone know of an issue with the Grandville Day Job - that has the jetpack?

I've logged a character for a couple of days now - no badge progress or jetpack.

I do see the little icon when in Grandville in the upper right. Do I have to move further in?

Make sure you are not on the Docks - the Smuggler Day job takes priority.

Or standing by the base portal. I would suggest, before you log out, right-click the icon and see exactly which Day Job location it is registering.

Or standing by the black 'copter (sorry, I wanted to join in...)

Or standing in front of Lord Recluse since he'll just tell you to go get a job instead of leeching off his 'charity'.
