Turning on user interface for screenshots?
one of the keybind options
give me a minute to load a picture...
okay, loading up.

now, to answer your other question, it's yes and no. If you use the option Save Settings to a File so that your chat interface and options are the same across all accounts... then yes, the keybind will apply for each character.
If you don't synch your settings between characters... then.. well. no. You'll have to set it for each one.
To enable UI in screenshots:
/screenshotui 1
To turn off the UI in screenshots again:
/screenshotui 0
To enable UI in screenshots:
/screenshotui 1
To turn off the UI in screenshots:
/screenshotui 0
Personally, I keep my UI off in the screenshots, and any time I want to reference the UI in a shot, I just paste the picture into MsPaint and save it from there instead. It works just fine for me.
Thanks, je saist and Master Blade, for answering!
Master Blade, I'm not sure I understand. If the UI doesn't show up, how can you paste it in later? |
However, because print screen is also the clipboard key, you can paste it into a graphics program as a WYSIWYG screenshot.
I hope that makes sense. I think I confused myself.
/bind sysrq "screenshotui 0$$screenshot"
/bind shift+sysrq "screenshotui 1$$screenshot"
Hitting "print screen" will give you a UI-less screenshot every time.
Hitting "shift+print screen" will give you a UI-full screenshot every time.
This way you don't have to mess with text toggles.

Hello all,
I did a search for "ui" and of course nothing came up.
I'd like to know how to turn on the UI for screenshots, etc?
I want to say it's /uion or some combination, but since I don't usually take screenshots, I never figured it out.
Also, if I turn it on for ONE character in my account, will all characters have it? Or must I do it for each character?
Thanks very much for any help.
