The only AVs I ever had trouble with were the Radio and the Vampyr-looking Council leader. I would bet most would be trouble now.
Um..what. If you had of looked at any of the other posts here, you would have seen therw is plenty of MMs builds that can solo almost anything.
Did you consider pvp and diminished returns as the reason you failed to kill a single boss in Warburg, as well as not being 50?

In regards to the easiest MM for AV soloing...I have 3 mms, that all can.

My necro/poison/mace can, barely. I find poisons debuffs (especially the -to hit) as too low to keep the necros alive. Maybe they do have one of the best ST damages..but when they also get looked at and faceplant..nevermind how utterly stupid Noxious Gas's recharge is.

My demons dark can do it easy. Dark is such a great mm set, and excellent for keeping pets alive. I do find the -regen on this build to be not perfect, maybe cause I dont have howling twilight slotted for max rech. The trouble, if you can call it that, with this combo, is that you need to be in melee range to heal your pets, which can lead to being slapped around.

Third MM is my bots storm. I would say that Bots are simply the best MM set for AV soloing, because they combine crazy amounts of -regen with almost all ranged attacks..not counting the stupid AI. My bots have 42% def to all, more to aoe, but the secret weapon of the AV solo'r...Webnade. Immob the av, stand close enough to get them in the huge range of hurricane, tell bots to fire..Game Over. Even before Incarnates, I solo'd about every av/hero around like this..if I could immob them, they were dead. And a lot of them had no ranged mez powers, making it even easier. If we are defining 'ease' as the fewest actions required to win..I think this combo would be one of the best (maybe bots/ff would be less clicks..but take MUCH longer). Storm is win.

Don't feel bad, would've caught me too if I hadn't posted in it way back when. I was reading the thread, thinking it was current and then I noticed my avatar and was thankful I'd been one of the first responses. Saved me a lot of reading.

Can solo very few AVs with SOs and no incarnates, Solos AVs in under 2 minutes with IOs and Incarnates (without Lore), takes like 3-5 minutes to kill GMs without lore pets.

Ninjas and Necro have the best single target damage, surprised no one considered ninjas with all those criticle hits.

Mace Mastery (Black Scorpion) has Speed Boost. c'mon! That's common sense for choice for a poison mastermind.

With this build I soloed every lvl 50 AV/Hero/GM in CoV, soloed BSF and ITF.

Building another soloer, Necro/Dark/Mace, only for hero content.
Wasn't that a terribly squishy MM? Did you have to re-summon a lot?

Madame Mindbender 50 Mind/Energy
Fly Agaric 50 Plant/Thorn
Nate Nitro 50 Fire/Psi

I've soloed Black Scorpion with Ninja/FF but that's with alpha incarnate I think. I didn't use judgment or interface or destiny.

I couldn't solo Black Scorpion before they changed FF buffs to group because one hit, Genins are usually dead and I just didn't have that much endurance to resummon, reupgrade and re-bubble each pet.

Ninja is definitely not the best choice because any serious aoe will wipe them out. Robots tend to spread out a bit more so they don't all die in one aoe.

And it really depends on what type of AV you are fighting, but if you want me to guess, I say Robot is the best AV killing and mostly it's because of that nasty -500% regen from Assault Robot and all pets are ranged.

What's left is to normalize all Assassin Strikes and improve Stalker's old sets (Claw, MA and EM)! You don't need to bring back the missing PbAoE attack. You just need to make the existing ones better! For example, make Slice a WIDER and LONGER cone.

Yes, Genin... Genin are quite squishy. And by quite squishy, I mean they take about a tap to fall over. I highly recommend getting the 15% aoe def from the ATO, it helps quite a lot. Mine rarely die unless fighting a large enemy, though admittedly Black Scorpion hurts. Wiped them out almost instantly, so I just left them dead when I fought him.

Though the upside to Genin is that, if I recall correctly, they attack faster than any other pet in the game... A good deal of your DPS comes from them, so focusing on keeping them alive is very beneficial.

Actually, another problem that Genins have is their endurance. I already slot them with -35% end but they will run out of endurance after a while. It's actually annoying when you try to solo an AV.

Yes, I love Ninjas and I've always said Genins do the most damage as Tier 1. In fact, if the game setting is on +0, the 3 Genins deal more damage than 2 Jounins! I've done a small test against +0 Freakshow tank boss. I want to see which group of ninjas kill faster. Genin > Jounin > Oni.

Oni has AI problem which I will keep harassing dev to fix. :P Oni doesn't use all the attacks at melee range. If Oni truly uses all of his attacks, he should do amazing damage with smoke flash.

I slotted a Blood Mandate into them, so stopped noticing the end problems... without any end redux, they run out nearly every fight. Even with Blood Mandate, a prolonged fight may leave them winded... it also helps that I am /Time. Once you have Chrono Shift perma it solves the end problem completely, and they could fight for hours (assuming you can keep them alive).

If I ever get my hands on the Chance for Build Up, it is going in these guys. More attacks- more build up- more damage- stuff dies faster- genin die less- more attacks- more build up, etc etc.

The circle of life.

Bots/Traps/Leadership/Soul Mastery

Triage Beacon, Shield Drone, and Acid Mortar

I take down AVs all the time.

Sovereign Right on the Pets
Luck of the Gambler on the Shield Drone and on Maneuvers
Ghost Widow's Embrace on the Hold in Soul Mastery
Hunter's Trap(?) on the Immobilize in Soul Mastery
Acid Mortar has recharge, accuracy, triple -def

It works for me, anyway. Naturally your mileage may vary.
