My kitty killed my wireless!

So today I leave the room for 2 MINUTES and come back to find a kitty sleeping on my computer keyboard.

I notice something is wrong because the front lights that show #1 the computer is on and #2 the battery is being charged, are dark but the computer is on and being charged.

Next I notice the little light up icon that shows my wireless is on has gone dark even though the switch is still at ON.

So now no matter what I do I can't get my internet working. Even though the wireless switch is on the computer says its off. The switch itself is fine.

Somehow my precious little kitty hit some hotkey to kill my wireless. I have searched every manual and help topic I could find but I cannot find it even though my manual says it exists.

Any ideas?

No idea about the problem itself, but as far as your search for help goes, you'll probably have better luck in the Tech/Bugs board - where, if I may make a suggestion, they're probably going to want to know what kind of computer it is.

Is it a laptop? Many of them have a hard switch that often has a saterlite picture on it that can turn wireless on and off. Other times on laptops there is a (mostly) blue function button, with blue symbols for some keys. These can toggle wireless on and off.

I don't suffer from altitis, I enjoy every minute of it.

Thank you Devs & Community people for a great game.

So sad to be ending ):

That was exactly the problem. Answered and apparently fixed in his follow-up thread in the Tech forum:

Maybe you should replace the wireless with CAT-6.

after playing poker online for a few years, I avoid anything that is wireless. It could become very expensive and I just can't stand the interruption when a battery runs out
