try updating your video drivers. there has been at least 1 new driver since your last. make sure that you save it to desktop instead of running it. then remove current video drivers your running. then instal new driver. this might help. have you also done a disc clean up and defrag? also might want to reset your modem and router.

Posted

tried the new drivers before had some problems with other programs with those drivers an went back to ones im useing now.i defrag about once a week ill do a check disk see what comes up.

thanks for pointers so far.tonight i had no disconects only layed for few hours didnt zone that much tho.

yesterday was string of crashs after zoneing then it stoped . ctrl alt delete an task manager says cox has stoped responding.

today same thing twice but no wnet worths no market use at all just trying earn merits in rwz.
/bleh

i realy want to sub to cox for a year at a time but this is getn old.realy kills the fun of the game haveing to re log in every other time ya zone .

Posted

all i can suggest is to contact support at this point. other then what i've suggested i'm not sure what to do. but it is a safe bet that it is your side causing the problem. might even be that your fire wall protection is set to high or virus protection setting to high.

Posted

ill check nortan again thought i had cox set as allowed .today just trying to log in to protector i got canot conect to database.

Posted

have you done a modem and router reset yet? if not try that. and if i were you i would get rid of noton and get a different anti virus program like avast or avg.

Posted

Slow loading and crashing while loading are often associated with low memory problems. 2 GB really isn't that much memory for a Vista machine, especially if you have a lot of other programs resident that are sucking up memory. You might want to try turning off all the non-essential junk you have running to see if that will help.

err i got 4 gig installed vista sees 3.5 but will use the other for drivers an stuff.just tried to log in on virtue same thing today the program stoped responding after i selected a character.yesterday took few times to get in but was fine most of the day.

new nortan aint the old stuff its alot better not had problems with it where as with avg had problems with other programs .

Posted

contact support. it is definately your end and not the games. might even be so much as changing your graphics settings. open in safe mode and see what happens.

Posted

Hmm, guess I expected to see more than 2814 MB despite the fact that 32 bit Vista only sees part of it. I agree with Sharker that contacting Support is probably your best best at this point, but you do have a lot of stuff running, and it wouldn't hurt to turn off some to see if it helps.

turned off nortans firewall nota still get a program has stoped responding.today had a fdew including when loging back in it stoped at server select an froze their. got message that server may be down or my fire wall was the problem.. but i had it turned off.

last crash not responding was a few minutes ago an i checkd memeory usage as i was told to do. 68% was what it was at.an i have seen it higher an i zone np. :/

its od some days its not a problem an others its agrivating for few hours then calms down.file check shows nothing threw patcher.
