Recipe for Rosie, goes like this
For the crust:
100gr yellow sugar
100gr butter
250gr flour
1 teasp raising powder
1 large egg
Pre-heat oven to 180º C. Butter a circle tray with removable bottom. In a bowl, mix sugar with butter until smooth. Add whole egg and mix it in. Add flour and raising powder and knead into a ball. Place dough into tray and spread it to cover the base. Bake for 15 minutes.
For the topping:
100gr yellow sugar
100gr butter
3 tbsps milk
250gr blueberries
25gr sliced almonds
Mix sugar, butter and milk in a pot over a slow heat and let it come to a gentle boil. Add blueberries and almonds and let cook for 15 mins. When done, pour over crust and replace pie back in oven for another 10 mins at 180ºC. Serve hot or cold with cream or ice cream if you want to.

Hmmm... interesting question TD... Yellow sugar is the unrefined sugar, that is, the one you get straight from the cane before it is processed and bleached or whatever it is they do to sugar to make it white (white I think is called caster sugar). Brown sugar I have no idea...
Ah, I just read the Wiki on it... what I used was Muscovado sugar, or, as you guys should know it over there, dark brown sugar.
