my card is hating me :(

I think my crashing issues arrived sometime after i16 went live, honestly I'm lucky I stay logged in for 10 minutes before the video driver crashes (thus crashing the game) and then recovers. I updated my drivers when it first started, but it seemed to do nothing...*sigh*

You have so much running in the background: skype, bittorrent, yahoo, google, messenger, sidebar, installshield, hp, apple, and every peripheral has a resident 'helper' which doesn't need to be resident.

Any one of them could be the possible problem.

I'm not really sure how you could have updated your drivers.

The last ATi driver to support Radeon x1650 was the 9-3 release.. which was back in March : http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownloa...?&lang=English

There was an update to 9.3.1 a couple months ago, I think to bring it line for Win7 support : http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownloa...?&lang=English

If it IS your graphics card having a conflict, it will be an application or program having updated itself within the past month... Or, as already pointed out, it could be the metric ton of spyware that's already running.

I'm not sure about others, but if my card is running fine, I really don't bother with updates and I've had it for over 2 years now.

I was looking at the list of things and thinking which I could remove, I'm always finicky about this stuff cause I don't want to break something else >_> Though I'm sure about at least the obvious stuff.
