I don't recall saying that this idea is bad or useless. Nor do I see how using the "abandon mission" feature in this way could be considered any more of an exploit than zoning twice to refresh the mission list. What I was trying to do is inform you that it is possible to get most of what you want right now, which is information I thought you (and anyone else interested in your proposed feature) might find useful. Apparently I did not successfully communicate my intentions.

Workarounds are always good to know, but they shouldn't take away from the drive to institute a change to fix the underlying problem or irritation.
Incidentally, I still agree with the idea.

The "pick mission, abandon, re-pick mission" takes about as long as refreshing the missions would.
Seems to me like a dev read this suggestion, and that was the solution we were given.
