Super-Speed essential to PVP?
It's the easy 1-2-3 hasten+SS combo package.
If your a squishy, then I think SS+SJ is more essential. When I fight on my emp and there aren't any -jump powers effecting me I don't die that often, but put a web envelope on me I have to retreat until it where's off mainly to protect against assasin strikes.
SS was the choice of the PVPer before i13. Then i13 buffed it by removing maxrunspeed debuffs.
WHY?!
A game is not supposed to be some kind of... place where people enjoy themselves!
It's not, technically speaking, essential, but you'll have a much easier time if you do get it.
Now if it was a choice between superjump and superspeed?
That'd be much harder.
Though superspeed, combat jumping and hurdle could be a manageable alternative.

If you don't have Super Speed you'll find PvPing very difficult in an environment where people liberally use Web Grenade, Web Enveloper, and other similar grounding powers.

Every power with jump and fly debuffs should get -maxspeed too.

Here's my question. Is having Super-Speed vital for playing in Zone PVP? I've notice with a lot of the PVP patches everything but super-speed moves like mud now.
Fly's a problem due to how easy it is to get an -Fly power.
Teleport doesn't work at all with Movement supression.
That leaves SS and SJ. I've heard SS + SJ is the combo du jour. But I've seen more Super Speeders lately that having both.
