Pretty much anything.
Personally, I would pick something that can crank up the damage inflicted. How about a controller with a good AoE immob to hold enemies in the Burn patch, with a secondary that will improve the damage done (either by increasing your damage like Fortitude, Accelerate Metabolism, etc or by reducing enemy resistance like rad and sonic can do).
My emp was a fun duo with a fire tank. His secondary is dark so he has the AoE immob (Tenebrous Tentacles) and having Fortitude, Assault and Tactics on the tank cranked up the damage and hit rate.
Or you could just go all damage and take a fire blaster. It's not like you'll need a support toon to heal you, unless you go after AV's or something.
Or, going from scratch and starting two toons at level 1: What does SHE want to play? Does she have a preference? Let her pick something, then YOU pick a toon to synergize with it.

Well my brother and I duo'd up a fire/fire tank and fire/fire scrapper it was really fun. Worked well too, able to take on large groups. However tanks and blasters make great duo's as well imo.

a fire/kin..fire cages to hold the mobs and you hit burn with f.e. and b.u. and watch them all melt away

How about a Trick Arrow/Sonic Defender and a Fire/Fire Tanker?
The Tanker does plenty of damage, but holds aggro off the Defender much better than a Scrapper, and has more AoE ability.
The Defender has Immobs and Slows and a knockdown patch that the FireTanker could ignite just by being near to do more damage -- so several ways to hold enemies in a Burn patch -- and the Defender has a TON of resistance debuffs in the primary and secondary that benefit both characters.

Kinetics makes any Fire tank a death dealing machine. Throw in some AoE immobs as noted above and life will be good
Well the title pretty much explains it all.
What's the best duo with a Fire/Fire Tank.
I've got one who's been stuck on lvl 40 for like a year but now that my girlfriend wants to make a toon to duo with my Tank, we're wondering what a good combo would be ?
OR should I try out a Fire/Fire Scrapper and just start from lvl 1 with her ?
Any thoughts ?
