The best way to stabilize FireFox (I'm assuming, since this has been a recurring problem for FF users) for these new boards is:
1. Delete all CoH cookies: with both city* and coh* names.
2. Disable CoolIris.
3. Reboot to clear all caches
4. Enter the boards with the http://boards.cityofheroes.com address.

Had the same problem since FF 3.5 series. Solved it by removing Coloris. Now this occurred in parallel to the FF 3.5.3 update. I will check to see if there is any correlation.

I had this problem when the forums first came out. I was using FF 3 then. I upgraded to 3.5 and no longer have the issue. My guess is it could be conflicting with an earlier version of the old forum's cookie, or simply a slight error in the new forum's cookie. Like Zombie said, you can clear up some files and get it to work correctly. In my case, I bet the reinstallation did something similar for me as well.
