Official Invitation for devs to the Twisted Burrow

Greetings!

Blueside, Infinity: The Twisted Burrow.

This base is a 3-d multi layered labyrinth of intricate design. It pushes the limits of the current base editing tools. Included in the design are many different maze styles and color combinations that confuse the senses as one moves through. It has often been described by visitors as an experience.

The motives behind this are to encourage, possibly influence grounds for new base editing tools. I've built bases across a number of servers and I welcome the opportunity to talk about possible base editing tools that could be useful for any base designer.

I believe that this base in particular, needs to be brought to the Dev's attention and what better way than a tour? The more, the merrier.

Please look for me at any given time, I am open to drop what I am doing to give a tour. I'm polite, patient, friendly, I have Ventrillo <client only> and Skype.

The base really needs flight to get around in, and even the designer can get lost.

It's on the wild side of things, and I haven't seen anything like it on missions or other bases, this could be something that would give a developer looking for something wicked just what they need.

An event is planned, a hide and go seek thing. Once you have been down the rabbit hole, you will understand more about why the hatter is so mad and why the rabbit is always late.

I have seen your base pics on the forum,awesome maze.
Hope they take you up on the "Challenge"

The only thing I can say about Mr Hassenpheffer's Twisted Burrow is that it is an experience. One could truly get lost in there for many many hours. He certainly has pushed the boundaries of what you can do with the base tools as it currently is. If this base isn't a push to have better tools implemented, I don't know what is.

Devs, take him up on his invite, and spend 30 minutes ... or so ... going through the base with him.

This is, hands down, one of the most complicated bases I've ever seen. That being said, it's SUPER fun trying to make it through, though there were a few times I wanted to curl up in a corner and cry. Thankfully, Mr. Hassenpheffer was nice enough to come rescue me and nudge me in the right direction!

If you have a chance to catch @Bea, I definitely suggest giving the Twisted Burrow a shot. It will completely blow your mind!

This is truly a work of art, being able to design such an intense feeling of enclosure and complete sense of lose trying to find your way in this Super Base... if this wasn't a call for more complex tools, then I don't know what is. This truly allows players to experience things that should be experience in a system.

Give it a try, get lost and see what you can see... it's amazing, and hopefully this will encourage others to be as creative in their designs.

Just went to the slide show and its amazing, I also would like to take a personal tour. Due to some people (including the leader) leaving an SG I am in on Virtue I am left with a 4 room base and a ton of prestage and no knowlege to build the base (well that and I usually just play my toons). this would be an amazing tour to take.

I finally had the pleasure of taking a step down the rabbit hole and i have to say what a fun and well put together base. If you have time to kill go take a stroll threw this great maze and try to keep up with the rabbit.
