AR/Dev, need build help/critique

Was wanting to remake an old AR/dev blaster of mine. Threw together a quick build. Need some advice on the power choices and the IO build. Let me know what you guys think.

Can't get frickin Mid's to import it correctly. If anyone can tell me why the hell it's messing up the code suddenly, I'll repost for easier viewing.

Well before I can critique/assist I need to get an idea of what your intentions for the build are.

You've skipped 2 of your AoEs that do knock back does that mean you plan to team with melee players alot? If so then I question some of your secondary power set selections.

Do you want to be a stealthy trapper?

Why take Trip Mine at all if you are only going to one slot it for damage? Ignoring accuracy in that power means that you are going to be popping lots of duds. You'd be better off taking a power that works well with a single slot such as Combat Jumping or Super Speed for stacking stealth.

I plan on making it just a themed character. Didn't feel having the boomstick and grenades would fit. Also just threw that build and IO setup together in like 5 minutes. If anyone can give me any advice on how to spec the AR/dev also, that'd be awesome.

There's a guide for AR/Dev written by Macskull in the sticky for blaster guides. It's worth a read.

Your build does have numerous issues, and it's kind of hard to respond with a lengthy critique when you admit that the build is just something you slapped together. My less than 5 minutes critique would say that caltrops and health are overslotted; smoke grenade and trip mine are underslotted and that you don't have anywhere close to a fluid attack chain...you'll be constantly waiting for single target powers to recharge when soloing.

Alright, those are things I definately want to hear. I'm still new to blasters and don't know how they all pan out. As for the guide, I could have sworn I'd looked and didn't see one. Thanks for the info.

Check my sig, guide's linked there as well. It's a bit out-of-date but the advice and slotting information still holds true. I believe I'm using a different build than the one in my guide but it's still a solid build - good recharge values, some extra damage, and only about 100 HP off the Blaster HP cap.
