welcome to the AV killer club.
I use a lvl 50 Ill/rad troller for this task.
If you go to the "News, Events, Announcements" section of this forum and then select "Announcements" and then scroll through you will see the editions of The City Scoop by date.
Over the last ten or so editions one of our best AV killers "TopDoc" has written major contributions to the magazine specifically about what you need to know for AV killing.
My toon is based on his advice.
I hope one of the more able formites will post a linkie for you as I am useless at that sort of thing
Be prepared to spend a great deal of inf on your build but be assured it will be worth it.

Great deal of inf? Hardly, this build was enhanced by, at best lvl 40 basic IOs, at worst SOs. Probably 80% of the enhancements were SOs.
Global = Hedgefund (or some derivation thereof)
The best AV solo Red side would be MM. As said before Robot/Poison is good but I think Robot/Tarps is better. Both don't need a lot of inf to make them good, but can solo AV with common IO.
If MM are not your thing a Sonic/Rad Corruptor would be one of the best too. It will take some Inf but can be a Beast for soloing AV. There are many more that can get the job done.

Hi,
apologies to OP about my comment on the cost of a build for AV defeating.
I got a bit carried away and had in my mind that the unspoken question would lead inevitably to a solo GM defeats build, a completey different proposition!

No need for apologies. I forgot to inform you guys of a few guidelines I would like to keep: I would like to play a brute and cost of the build is no problem. I make quite a bit of influence playing the market.
I'm currently thinking dm/energy aura brute.

Werner deal mostly with Scrappers builds He could have some Brute builds but it would really just be better to ask the Scrapper Forums then just PM Werner because he doesn't reply back for some time now because too many people PM him. This is the best AV soloer for a Brute. It is the best for a Scrapper, but it does take a lot of Inf. My build which does 294DPS was about 1.5 bil not too bad but it does cost some. If I were to make the build now it would be about 2.5 Bil easy. |
Looking for some help. I understand that I'm supposed to have high damage per second... I need endurance to last the fight... And I need to survive the length of the fight.
Is there a good damage per second calculator or anything out there?
What is generally considered the king of single target damage red side?
Basically I need the basics and any tricks you can swing my way.
