# Players using Trial Accounts may not access Mission Architect terminals. Trial Account users can be invited to teams that are using the Mission Architect Missions, but cannot create, rate or start any published Mission Architect Missions until they "upgrade" their account with either:

Technically, there is no such thing as an Architect Trial, or an Architect Version. You either have a Trial, or full subscription... regardless which advertisement you clicked on, or which boxed version you bought. The game version is the same for everybody.
The only thing a different boxed version may give you is a few extra powers or costume pieces added to your account. Any Trial version is still under the same restrictions.
You can view the other restrictions on our Wiki page: http://wiki.cohtitan.com/wiki/Trial_Account

City of Heroes: Architect Edition Free Trial
A bit cheeky of them to advertise an Architect Edition Free Trial that doesn't allow use of the Architect.

Check again. It doesnt say Architect Edition Free Trial; it says 14 Day Free Trial. Just because it shows the latest Box Set doesnt necessarily mean it allows use of Mission Architect, etc., etc. Although I can see how the confusion comes about. Perhaps a disclaimer would be in order on the "Get a 14 Day Free Trial" page.

The header of the page is "City of Heroes: Architect Edition Free Trial", which shows up in Google with that same exact title when "architect edition free trial" is searched for.

Just seems kind of silly. Like an ice cream shop putting out a full page ad for some delicious new flavor. Pictures, testimonials, excited descriptions of the lusciousness and texture and creaminess. At the bottom of the ad there's a little box announcing a taste test that Saturday. Guy sees this, shows up for the taste test, and is told the new flavor isn't included in the taste test.
The "Free Trial" should probably be taken out of the page title. It's not an Architect Edition free trial; it's a webpage about the Architect edition, which has a link to the (generic) 14 Day Free Trial page

I agree, its not presented well.
I don't suffer from altitis, I enjoy every minute of it.
Thank you Devs & Community people for a great game.
So sad to be ending ):
Neither is the physical AE box =/ I think they did a terrible job overall of setting up the Architect Edition information.

True. The Architect Edition box, from all reports, never mentions the rest of the game. I have run across several player that bought it and didn't realize they had access to the whole game, they thought they were restricted to just the AE building.
I have a theory as to why trial accounts are not allowed to use AE. If a lot of people create trial accounts and make a lot of arcs, and then decide they don't want to buy the whole game, that's a LOT of space being taken up by things that will never be edited or likely accessed again.

I'm on the Architect Trial but I can't seem to use Architect.
I've searched everywhere to see if trial accounts are blocked from Architect or if there's a level requirement, but I've found nothing.
