What is the total count for Badges you can get

I decided that my Main needs to rack up some more badges and get a couple of the Accolades he still does not have.

So I was wondering excluding the Vet Badges, what are the total badges in the game, maybe I should also say excluding the ones that you can no longer acheive?

I can't log on to the game right now to check how many my main has but I have played him off and on for 3 or so years and he has a good collection, but I never intentialy went after any.

Oh and last question, does AE work for the defeat badges? Maybe then I can make a map with all the different enemy groups that I need to start arresting.

No, AE does not give you credit for ANY badges (not defeats, not inf, not damage, not healing, etc) except for AE badges.

That website is very good in organizing the badges you have and shows you at the bottom which ones you still have left to get. As of right now, there are very few I have left to get that I have any control over, and I'll be getting a couple of them as soon as i16 hits. (Requirements for badges have been reduced in i16). Then it's just a matter of getting the dayjobs and earning any new badges that get released.

My main hero badger had 722 badges before I15 deleted roughly 80 AE badges from the game.
Some of the top badgers who (in retrospect) wasted the time to get all the original AE badges had upwards to 740+ badges.
