When did Unstoppable get buffed?
As far as I know, it hasn't.
It might've been that it crashed right as you were getting a fresh tick of END, thus leaving you with just enough to squeak by.
You can make certain by checking the power's real numbers in game. If the -END value is less than 100% or something like that, then it's been changed.

The description "almost all" is definitely new though, and I've ran Unstop twice and not had my toggles drop, which they always always did before.
Edit: now I'm really confused. Just tested it twice out of combat and both times End flatlined and the toggles dropped
Then you probably had a lucky break as I said. You managed to crash right when you were also getting a tick of END back through your Recovery.

I've had the same thng happen a few times when nuking on my dark/kin corr. After it goes off, all my toggles are still up and i have enough end to hit transference. I do have the performance shifter proc on her, so i put it down to that firing a split second after i nuked.
I think the -100% End crash only works on base Endurance. I say this because, your maximum Endurance can be higher 100 depending on your IO bonuses as well as Accolades. Combined with the fact that Unstop has a Recovery bonus, it's likely that your blue bar rarely budged from your maximum End, so when you crash, you lose all of your endurance except the bonus Endurance you have. The crash also stunts recovery though so you'll still detoggle if your bonus isn't high enough, or you don't use a blue insp.
So my guess is you have a bonus to Max End from either accolades or IO bonuses. If not, then I don't know what it could be...

My invluln tanker has 122 endurance. If he only lost 100 endurance when unstoppable crashed, having 22 endurance remaining would be quite obvious. Yet, my endurance completely disappears.
...and the crash doesn't stunt recovery... at all.
The OP simply got a tick of endurance between the crash and when the toggles tried to eat endurance.

100% is 100%.
And Unstoppable does not have a -Recovery crash. It only crashes out HP and END.

Power Surge isn't as lucky, as there's a -10000% recovery debuff for 20s after crash. For what? A hold at the end that has a pathetic radius.
Thanks for the explanations. My mistake was in thinking that Unstoppable had the same -Recovery as Elude, the only other Tier 9 defensive power I'm familiar with.
The perfectly timed tick of End recovery does seem to happen quite often - happened again last night. Not exactly to be relied on though.
My experience with Unstoppable back in issue 12 and before on my tanker is that about 1/3 of the time when it drops I don't loose my toggles. Apparently that's the one time in three I get lucky with the timing of a tic of recovery.
Here's a suggestion for you, go to the auction house and buy the temp. power "ethereal shift"; a 5 use CLICK (not toggle, so it isn't affected by the crash) phase shift power. When unstoppable is about to drop click on the temp power... you'll have 30 seconds to get your hp/end/toggles back up before the power expires.

I was playing my SS/Inv brute earlier today on Test and was pleasantly surprised when the Unstoppable crash left me with enough End to keep my toggles up. Checking the info I see it's now saying "drained of almost all health and endurance."
I'd thought it was an I16 change, so I was pleasantly surprised to log into the live servers and see the same description I'm just curious to when it was changed. Not that I'm complaining. I was a bit underwhelmed when I hit 38 and tried Unstoppable for the first time, seeing as losing almost all your health AND having your defensive toggles drop at the same time was pretty near a death sentence if you were still in a fight, and far more punishing than the crash of say Elude. |

At the moment it's a fairly basic IO build, without procs, but again, interesting idea.
