I am with MB, badge hunting is an exercise in futility unless you limit it to one or two toons. Motorpsycho Nitemare is one of those toons and he needs the Respec badges so I would like to take him along for that one.

For KHTF, I can take along whatever is needed. Mostly likely my rad or my earth/kin, both of whom have Katie unlocked.

• This task force requires 4 to start. We will be running 3-4 teams.
• We will wait to form teams until close to 10pm Eastern. This will allow us to get a better idea of what builds we have present. Anyone not at the contact, or that has not sent me a tell letting me know they are on their way will not be included.
• We have use of the chat channel Freedom TF Chat for these TF's.
• Sidekicks and Exemplars are welcome!
• 4 Missions total: 1 Speak To, 1 Hunt, Protect the Reactor!

On a side note, it's completely awesome that this is a cool server, running on a damn fine game that is freer of bugs than nearly anything else I've played, anywhere. Much love.

Edit: been a friggin' week since I've been able to blow off any steam, have fun, etc. Tried another quick diversion, due to a special offer. Regrets, aggrivation, pain, sorrow, etc. Me knows better, now. Gah.

Nothing much to say about this one. It was a fairly routine Respec Trial on Challenge1 (Heroic). We didn't ghost through anything though, so it took us slightly longer than normal.

While setting up for the Katie TF, we noticed the Croatoa War was starting, so we swung by and took out Jack and Eochai first.

Then.. the *REAL FUN* began.. lol

Ok, let me try to explain those results..
We decided to run this on Challenge level FOUR!.. lol

We started out not so bad. I set down quite a few of my [Trip Mine] for each mob, and left only Mary and a couple survivers each time... but that didn't last for long. We ended up having to defeat Mary at lvl 37 a few times (team wiping each time), and then having to defeat her at lvl 38 as well! (Keep in mind, we're all EX'd down to only lvl 34, had no Tanker, no Emp, and a couple members on the team were still only lvl 31 or so.)

Thank God for [Tactics]! lol. Without that, I'm sure we wouldn't even have been able to complete it. As it was, it took a [Longbow Mech] and [Shivan Shard] to help as well. On a side note, I *cheated* a little by glitching myself beneath the map, so the foes could not hurt me. I stole a bit of agro that Mary couldn't do anything about, and I was able to attack with ease, without being hurt. While everybody else wiped on the last mob, I picked off the minions one by one from under the map. lol

After about 75 deaths, we finally defeated Mary. I took a picture of my Rewards because the Influence we got for killing her was crazy. lol

(How much do we normally get for defeating lvl 54 AVs? I never thought to look.)

Anyway, it took a LONG time, but it was a GREAT time! It was definitely more fun than a generic Herioc run. That's for sure. It took me back to the days when that TF was actually a big challenge. What do you know.. raising the Challenge setting actually works! haha

Thank you everybody for coming and sticking with it through that mess. We needed all the help we could get to make it through that first mission. I'm looking forward to our next crazy adventure.

I'll see a few of you on Wednesday for the Kahn TF, and I hope we get a few more people signed up for the practice MoITF on Friday! I'd hate to have to limit it to only one team and have people lose out on the fun. Then again, as long as we get a 2nd-team leader, we probably wouldn't have a problem advertising for the last few members. See you then!

Thank you to everyone that showed up last night! Things were a bit iffy with the setup due to some last minute cancelations, but we were able to get 3 full teams of 8 running. I'm sorry that your friend was unable to join us last night MB. Tell him to speak up next time!!! I'm not a mind reader, and I asked several times in local if anyone was not on a team. We ended up picking up a pug, so if he had said something, we could have gotten him a spot! Oh well!

My team for the respec was:

The Respec went like a piece of cake. The deaths we had came in the final mission. We had one person killed by a proximity bomb, and then the rest were from the ambushes in the reactor room. We were without a tank, so it got ugly a few times.

We finished the respec in 57:29 with 11 deaths.



For the Katie Hannon, we had two people trade out toons. I appologize now to my teammates for my husbands tanking abilities. They are crap, I know, and Sorry!!! But at least we had someone there to keep Mary a little busy while we worked on the others.

My team for KHTF:

We also had problem in the first mission, mostly because of bad tankage, and low levels. I was set on only Heroic, but by around number 6 or 7, Mary was giving us a lot of issues. We had one full team whipe at one point. My husband kept backing up so far in between waves, that myself, and Mr E were taking the alpha strikes a lot.

But we were able to struggle through finally! We finished the TF at 50:30 with 22 deaths.

Next week we are doing the final (I think) double TF night. I'll be glad when these are over, they are stressful on me . We will be running the Twilight Son and Mender Lazarus TF's in Ouroborus. I'll try to put the sign up sheets up later today.
