Where are Favorite Threads?

Hey folks,

Hope all is well. Just noticed (since new Forums) I cannot find my "Favorite Threads". I had a pile of helpful threads. Also, I don't see an option to sticky a thread to be favored.

Er...am I missing something or was the function obliterated?

Thanks in advance.

Same here, they seem to have been lost in the move, probably because none of the threads have the same numbers anymore.

Up at the top of the thread, there's a Thread Tool link. You should get a drop down box off of it that has an option to Subscribe to this Thread.

Thanks for reply. Wow...so much useful information gone. I am truly going to be a Veteran Noob .

Well, moving to a new pad is always kind of a drag. Still, all might not be lost. I've heard that the search features of this software are much easier to use than on the old. Also, we have a new feature called tabs that organize topics as well. I've personally tagged hundreds of threads, and some might be useful to what you have lost. Just type in whatever you are looking for, say information on "softcapping defense" and see if something populates as you type (in this case, the tag "softcap" will show as you type).

Still not as easy as having your old favs, I know. I miss mine as well. But do believe that the overall benefits to this new forum will make up for it in the end.

Thankfully, "gone" and "not quickly accessible" are not the same thing. Anything that you had in your Favorites and that still exists you can find again with the Search function and add to your subscriptions. Some things might be gone for good. Any thread you saved to favorites that wasn't recent or stickied could have been deleted, but that happened on the old forums all the time, too.

Anything on the internet could move/vanish/crash at any moment. If there's anything specific out there that you really rely on, you may want to copy it into a Word file and storeback it up yourself. I don't do that with the vast majority of things, but there are a few specific keybinds/instructions I do save on my own. I wouldn't, on the other hand, copy 20 pages from the Paragon wiki site and save those on my own.
