You could use Rectified Recticle: Increased Perception in Build-Up. Gives a 20% perception increase, good enough for 1-2 applications of blindness. Plus for slotting 2 of that set, you get a defense bonus.

Don't know if it's been said, but the main things that took away my BS/Shields stamina issues were...

A.) End Accolades (far larger bonus than the piddly little rec+ Bonuses in sets)
(with exception of +end perf shifter in stamina)

B.) Give yourself a little recharge, pick up hasten, then you can almost constantly cycle OWtS and Conserve Power. Sure it wont overlap perfectly (before you really start kickin out cash for recharge). What you'll usually find though is that your end will last through to the time one resets, especially with lulls in fighting.

>So, that said, since you're /shields, there should never be any lull in fighting since you'll be jumping headfirst into every spawn to soak up the +damage and shield charge.
The endurance I had never failed to keep me running [while running all shield toggles as well as Tough] as you get towards 50, just make sure you're always considering more +end/rec, or more +rech to keep Shield charge, conserver power, and hasten up.

Final note, don't pass up +accuracy set bonuses, no one ever talks about them, but usually they are quite substantial. Usually the first 2 in any purple set net you 15% alone. Along with this, all attack sets give you 60-99% accuracy, far higher than the old staple 1-2Acc SO per power. That works two fold on your end.

Less missed attacks = less wasted endurance
More inherant accuracy means you can consider slotting attacks for end reduc instead.
Higher Accuracy means you will find yourself needing FA less often, so less drain.

Lots of good advice here! Thank you all for pitching in. I've looked over a lot of these and figured it may be better to state my goals with the character and see how I can reach them with everyone's input. I've looked at all the builds above and have a much better idea of what I can/should slot, just not quite there yet as to what I can drop/not slot as much.

Goals:
To soft cap my positionals
To NOT take tough/weave
To not have endurance issues
To not gimp myself ^_^ damage wise
To have hover/fly in the build (blessing of the zephyrs of course)
If possible Aid self (though i dislike the pool)
If possible CP & Phys Perf (to help deal with end issues)
If possible hasten for a better attack chain and potential AV soloing (never done that post i5 and would like to)
Would like the +perception IO somewhere if room
Also trying to avoid purple sets as they're way too pricy for me to buy currently.

I've about tripled my money with a good sale from a lucky drop recently and have about 60mil to start off with.

I have saved / gotten the following:
Gaussian Fire Ctrl - buildup%
Steadfast Prot -res/+3% def
Performance Shifter - +end proc
Kismet - +6% acc
Numina's - +regen/+rec

just having problems trying to get everything into the build. I don't mind dropping GC for all the stated reasons. I didn't take slash. I could drop parry if I'm softcapped but would rather not. I don't have whirling sword but could pick it up if there is room. Oh and I just hit 50 on a rikti ship raid today.

You'll save a load of money and enhancement space by relying on one application of parry to cap your melee defense, it's also a good proc horse since it recharges quickly and used often, not a half bad dps booster.

If you dislike Aid pool, invest in some extra regeneration, you have a considerable hp pool to draw from thanks to true grit, which means a little percentage goes a long way... esp with soft capped D.

I didn't see you mention anything about wanting to play the abnormal AV game, so what you'll find out is that as BS/SD, you'll start to care less about extra defense, and more about extra recharge as you approach a safety cap. Once you can safely kill everything soft in a spawn with SC, and juggle everything else (disembowel + Head splitter) it comes to a game of how can I kill more quickly. If you have CP and Hasten, you'll have the end to sustain your needs since they scale with extra recharge.

Lastly, an excellent tactic for preserving stamina for an end heavy build, is to 5 slot your attacks with sets (get all the goods out of the bonuses) then to chop off whatever set piece is least important and replace with a level 50 end reduc IO. Especially in Shield Charge, Head Splitter, and whirling sword, where end cost is huge.

GC is going to be one of those things that's fully up to you, going to give you some quick pros to the power though.

When you're fighting rikti magus, and they hit you with tremor, and your defense isn't immediatly floored, you'll thank the power.

When your team has a forcefielder, or other defense based defender, you will apply enough defense to the people around you to soft cap them (GC is about the same as dispersion field when slotted, and is not melee range like phalanx fighting). It's not your job, but it sure does give you a warm fuzzy feeling to watch a mediocre team go steamroller and feel like you've contributed.

It helps that the toggle cost is miniscule.

Again, your opinion though, Aid Self will make this pretty much impossible to have... What you may shoot for is a heavily IO'd Solo/survival build with Aid Self, and a group oriented dual build that has GC. If you're in to AV/PvP fighting

Just did another small test with physical perfection on test. Figured I'd post the results here.

I copied over my character and respecced out of FA and into PP. I left all other slots the same and put the enhancers back in the same order they were in before the respec (print screen+picture viewer program).

Without phys perf I was able to do about 5 attack chains including buildup/active def/shield charge 2x before endurance got to about 10%. This is with the 3 toggles running.

I then did the above with tough+weave running and could only do this about 4 times. The attack chain was pretty much when something refreshed and once I'd hit 6 attacks I considered that one cycle.

With phys perfection with 3 empty slots and no tough/weave I was able to do about 7 cycles, this included one extra shield charge+buildup.

with phys perfection with 3 empty slots and tough/weave I could do 6 cycles.

With phys perf full (3 end mod) I could do 8 cycles with no tough/weave and 7 with.

these were rough tests and I stopped before tanking my endurance in all cases some cycles stopped with a tad more endurance then others. I was mainly looking at how long could i keep swinging without running out.

for numbers PP is exactly half of stamina fully slotted or 0.41 eps empty its half of that. It functions decently but really only fully slotted where its equal to roughly 2 toggles (.21 end each). This does help absorb the cost of our basic armor toggles, more so if you put 1 end red in each one or have sets that reduce this.

If you have sets that reduce end on the attacks and give you end bonus/recovery bonus' you probably have no need of this at all, unless you're using it for some sort of slotting fodder.
