can already be done by using the floor tile and light fixture approach. although not a bad idea, i just don't think they will do it any time soon.
My only concern with that would be if, sometime in the future, when they get ready to turn base raids back on... heh... *snicker*... no, really, if they turn... *chuckle*... wait, let me start over.
we all know that is going to happen when i15 comes...no wait that already happened...when i16...no, no mention of base lovin there either...when GR comes...well, maybe, just maybe if the stars align with the planets and the sun starts to turn red and shoot out green blasts of energy and...well no sense in keeping fingers crossed for base raids. but some base lovin would be welcome.

What ever happened to the "z-axis tool" idea?
Using the floor & lamp technique is a nifty workaround, BUT... It's still a bit tricky to place things directly on top of each other, or place one thing in a particular position on top of another, since you can't see through the floor from the topside.

Base Raid?
What is this "base raid" you speak of?
Isn't that what you use to kill base spiders, and base cocka-roshes?
Originally they made bases for pvp purposes. All other things are just for extra. Base pvp raid has been broken years now. I think thats the reason why they have totally forget us who love to build our sg-bases. Yes I love my base and hate whole idea of baseraids

That was also back when they thought more people wanted to PvP. It turns out that few liked the PvP in this game and the bug was going to take a lot to fix so they just decided it wasn't worth the cost at that time.

Yah Yah......bases, I know the devs love to hear me babble about them, hehe.
Just one tiny request.........if not too hard..........and can be done during lunch break. I promise I will send you lobster, cheetoes, and a case of Dr Pepper if you guys hook me up.
Can you code the arcane blocks........to be like desks......i.e. stackable. Just give them whatever property you give the desk. (Sounds easy right! :P)
