I'm in. The cold buggers are always a pain in the tush to put together. Also, I may be a little late tonight. Got a scout leader meeting an hour and a half before Legends time. I *think* we'll be done and back before 8, but I've never been to one of these before, so I'm not sure.

Great work last night Legends! We got through Willy Wheeler's arc and landed a fat 17 merits for it. Though I have it on good authority that Ace McKnight managed to escape the brutal murder he deserves, we'll square up with him in the end. After that, we finished Kalinda and went cape gathering. Finally, a little bit of after hours demon hunting for the Cold Hearted badge rounded out the evening. Nice work!

The base doth have power and storage. If anyone want to toss 5 sets of Titanium shards, Fortunes, and Temporal Analyzers that would do the trick. Or just let me know on tuesday and I'll take em off yer hands fer ye.

I'll round 'em up and put 'em in storage. I'm about to pop on and zip through my lvl 16 Mayhem, and I should have a little extra market time afterwards.

What's next on our hit parade? Costume slot and working towards the Sharkhead mayhem?

Oh, and a big THANK YOU to Golgothan for running the cold demon blasting afterwards! This marks the earliest I've ever gotten that badge, and it's sweet.

According to Avatea here, the Halloween event goes live tomorrow, in time for the next Legends meeting. Is this something we want to do as a group, or is it more of an individual thing? I'm guessing we've got 2 weeks at least to run around and trick or treat or whatever, but it'll be fresh and shiny tomorrow.

I'm hoping the treats are large inspirations again like they did a few years ago, not the smalls like last year. We filled 5 or 6 bins with larges, it was great.

I popped on to start migrating Boopsie to SOs and it occurred to me that we're going to blast right through the 20-25 level mayhem with all the Halloween stuff.

So I'm going start dropping newspaper missions and turn off XP when I hit 24, in the hopes of getting the mayhem before 25. Then we can all grab it and get introduced to whatsisname, the Family contact, as planned, in a couple of weeks.

I think we nailed all the ToT badges this week, so we will proceed through papers to Mayhem on Tuesday. We'll only take a break from it if a zone invasion pops up.

I do have Lorenz opened and am sitting on his badge mish, that we can do Tuesday. "Bust Up the Dockworker's Strike (Strikebreaker) " Another easy way to open Lorenz, is to do Darrin Wade's first mission. Afterwards, He will intro you to a con.

That was a very productive evening. I believe we managed to complete our set of all the Halloween badges, which was awesome. I expect to see some pumpkin heads out there next week!

Speaking of next week, we're going to run the Pirates of the Sky Strike Force. To participate you must be at least level 20, and the closer to 25 you are the better for all of us really. It's a big fat pile of merits, so I hope to see everyone there.

I've only ever done it the one time before, and the conclusion was great. It's nice to see those set pieces of exterior locations used logically in missions, and the Sky Raider base is a wonderful 3-D battleground. Outdoor missions using ruins or dime-a-dozen streets? Ugh. Outdoor missions with actual architecture? Awesome!

Makes me wish there was something similar using the the aboveground portions of the Council base on Sharkhead, or an outdoor cemetery mission using Potter's Field.

Totally. CoV has a lot of untapped potential in it's scenery and it seems that only the dullest, most grindy parts of it have been tapped to make maps (The PTS and Hellforge being my particular least favorite "I will always drop missions on this map if I can" offenders.)

Dear Rogues, Hell, Dear CoV in general,

Last night my hard drive asploded. Well not litterally. But it is fried, and the data is not salvagable. I always kind of figured that was the sort of thing that happened to people that are not me. But here I am, sans one functional PC.

It will be a little while before I can afford to replace it. Until then, I wont be around. I'm sorry. I could not have forseen this or planned for it. Watch this space for my return. I'll miss you guys.

I was already feelin' bad that I was coming here to post that VexXxa and I were no longer able to participate either. We both have too many irons in the fire and we couldn't give this the attention we wanted to. VexXxa would post here too, but since the new forums went live...she has some weird bug where random forum threads upload only a blank white screen. And this thread is the latest one she can't see anymore. She has posted repeated requests to the forum admins, but no replies yet. Maybe when you get back to up and running again, this could be something we can check out again in the future. We both enjoyed ourselves here and thanks for the fun all.

I'm back baby!

Sort of. I bought a totally kickass new computer that totally kicks ***, but instead of Internet Explorer, it has some sort of evil Cylon device that looks like Explorer, and has the same screenshots as Explorer, but instead of Exploring, it just freezes the damn hell up. I should stress that this is a brand new computer, just purchased yesterday, so why it should choose to declare war on my joy so soon is beyond me.

BUT it does run CoX just fine, so I should still be on for Tuesday night.
