I like the over-the-top Australian accent. As well as Cockney. Some of the accents we have here in the US are atrocious.

Valley
Many southern accents
New Englander
North Dakota region
Brooklyn when it's thick

All those just grate my biscuit!

But the worst for me is from my region of Northern New York. "Yawnt to?" somehow means, "Do you want to?"

I don't know, you just have to hear it or be grateful that you haven't.

Croc not bad but it's a bit chewy. The meat takes on the flavor of what the croc ate the most. If it was feed a lot of chicken it shall taste like chicken. If it ate a lot of fish it would taste like fish.

What if it eats a lot of everything? Does it taste the flavors of the rainbow?

Truth is I don't know. I just know the Croc I did eat and I didn't have a lot just about 6 ounces tasted like chicken. My guess that some muscles would pick up different flavors then others. Like how Dark meat of a chicken tastes different then white meat.

I too have eaten crocodile meat. It was in South Africa. Taste and texture were just as RottenLuck described. It didn't sound all that appealing, but I figured I'd eat one since they'd be so eager to eat me. Kind of like getting payback beforehand just in case it should ever happen.

I'll tell you something though. NEVER try any of the more exotic biltongs (similar to jerkey). The Ostrich biltong was so bad I spit it right back out. Few foods have ever made me do that.

That is pretty much why I once ate a large snake. It had attacked me so I had it hunted down and cooked. Tasted more like chicken than rodent, though.

You used to be able to get 'exotic' meats in British supermarkets. You don't see them so much now. Crocodile is one of those odd ones, texture like fish, tastes like meat.

I rather like ostrich. It's like best fillet steak. Pain to cook though as it has zero fat and tends to burn quickly if you don't add something to help. (Not that I was the one cooking it. I burn water.)
