A buff for Trick Arrow's Debuffs.

Trick Arrow, as we all know, is centered as being a debuffing set. We can't buff our teammates but sticking an arrow in them, though it might be nice at times to hurry them up with the threat of pain, but... that'd be doing a Manticore.

Thing is, Trick Arrow seems to be missing -Regen. Wouldn't that be great on Acid Arrow? I mean, Acid is a classic for stopping regeneration, from D&D and Fantasy to Comics too.

Surely trying to breath in Poison Gas would make getting your breath back tougher, slowing your recovery? A -recovery to that would make sense.

Radiation not only has debuffs galore, but a PBAoE Heal, a Rez, a +rec/damage/speed buff too. Dark Miasma has a PBAoE Heal, mass res, and a pet.

For Christmas this year, give Trick Arrow some love. An Archer is for life, not just for the holidays.

I would not be opposed to TA getting some love. In my view it lags a bit behind many of the other sets. Not by a lot, but it's something.

EMP Arrow does a hefty amount of -regen. (-1000% according to mids) Also, Trick Arrow has damaging powers, which Radiation doesn't get outside of having to have teammates die or be fighting robots. And yes I know the oil slick has its fair share of problems but it still contributes to overall balance. It also has three control powers (Entangling Arrow, Ice Arrow and Oil Slick Arrow), which again Radiation doesn't get (Also has EMP Arrow but Rad has its own version of that). TA's debuffs to damage, defense and resistance are also superior to Radiation's outside of Fallout which again requires someone to die.

Personally, I think it'd be fine if they just fixed the bugs with the oil slick. Easier said than done, I know. But yeah, if you want to heal or rez people you can always take the medicine pool. Or take a different set.

Also, -regen is overrated to begin with. Only really useful against GMs and to a lesser extent AVs, cause everything else will die too quickly to regen any significant amount.

EMP Arrow.

Unnecessary. You can already stack 40% -Res with Acid and Disruption, or up to 80% -Res with Acid, double-stacked Disruption and the Achilles' Heel proc. Throwing perma -Regen into the mix is overkill.

Only TA/Elec could leverage it before level 33 (EMP Arrow with slots), and TA/Elec can apply -Recovery without having it added to PGA. Other TA/* builds couldn't leverage it at all prior to level 41 (for Power Build Up) or level 47 (Power Sink), at which point any TA/* defender worth his/her salt should not need yet another way to disable or debilitate foes.

In other words, it would be useful only for highly specialized builds, entirely dependent on secondary or ancillary powers and, frankly, not very useful in light of the plethora of other controls and debuffs available in TA.

And TA has higher -Res, -Def and isn't dependent on having enemies or allies to target (which is not even close to an exhaustive list). Apples versus bananas versus watermelons.

Patience.

I also believe the -ToHit from flash arrow is unresistable, even by AVs, which means against AV-level targets Trick Arrow is providing the roughly the same level of -ToHit as the entire Dark Miasma primary.

Correct (though many people will skip slotting Flash Arrow, but wouldn't think of skipping the -tohit slotting in Dark, which would end up making Dark approximately 50% stronger)
