I have a few more questions
As far as I know you can never get more than 5 origin contacts at each level even if you turn off XP until you've done them all. Fortunately they tend to offer overlapping sets of missions.
Flashbacking will allow you to get any of the story arc or badge missions that you missed but not any of the non-arc missions.
While you can use the turn off XP method to play though a larger portion of the missions on a single character (there is a person on Virtue LFG channel who does that) I personally think that a better idea is to make multiple different characters and select different contacts for them but in any case to each thier own.
This should give you an idea of how the missions and contacts are structured on the CoH side of the game.
After your origin contact for level 1-5 in either Atlas or Galaxy, you will be directed to other contacts in Atlas, Galaxy and Kings Row for level 5-10 missions. While doing that contact's missions they will give you other contacts from other the origins, eventually giving you one contact from each origin for that level range.
Now while there are multiple contacts for each origin in each level range, you will only get one contact for that origin/level range. Don't fret, they all offer the same set of missions.
Then there are zone specific contacts and missions that are origin independent. You will find these in what I call "Story Zones", The Hollows, Faultline, Striga Isle, Croatoa, RWZ, Ouroboras and Cimerora.

Ah, I see so, although there are different contacts for each origin, they all offer the same missions, thanks for the info!
Back in the day, the 5 origins contacts system was relevant in that the stores did not sell all of the enhancement types, just the batch known as the "Power 10". You were encouraged to work the contact of your origin (until the confidence bar is at the 2nd mark where he tells you you're his bestest buddy and opens his full store to you) so that you can buy the rest of the enhancements you needed from him - at inflated prices.
Teams are the number one killer of soloists.

While there's overlap in the early levels with multiple contacts offering a given badge mission later on things change; with most contacts having unique arcs. There's really no way you're going to see everything in one time through the game but some arcs are really worth doing.
Once you hit 15 I'd suggest going to Faultline for Jim Trembor's (or whatever his name is) arc as that's a well written and fun series of contacts and arcs in the 15-25 range. For the 20's Striga Island is a good place to head, the arcs there will see you to 30.
Croatoa is another good series of arcs in the 25-35 range. Founder's Falls has contacts with nice arcs for the 30-40 range and of course there's Tina MacIntyre in Peregrine Island for the first part of the Praetorian War from 40-45 and Maria Jenkins for the second part from 45-50 (A Hero's Hero). Every one of my high level characters I've played the Tina & Maria arcs; they're some of my favorite arcs.
Here's a listing of most of the story arcs heroside.

Oops, I forgot about the Freakolympics, a great mid-20's arc that starts in Independence Port with Marvin Weintraub; it's something everyone should do at least on one character.

Hi again, I have a few more questions for you all
I'm a bit of a completeist and was wondering on the contact system in the game, particularly on the Hero side.
I understand that there's a contact for each origin and at either Atlas Park/Galaxy City, for about levels 1-5, I understand that..later levels I don't understand though. I know after you hit level 5 you're sent to a different contact for your specific origin. From what I've read there appears to be a small list of contacts for you to be sent to at different levels.
My question is, because I'm a bit (understatement of the year), of a completeist can I either, Turn off XP gain so I can go to all the available contacts for my level/origin, or can I go back to contacts that are available for me, yet I have not yet been introduced to in the flashback system.
Also, for the flashback system, if I didn't do an available mission from a contact, can I go back and do the mission I missed?
Sorry for the Wall of Text...again, and don't worry I have not been hung up by this, I was just wondering.
Thanks again!
