  1. Ah, I see so, although there are different contacts for each origin, they all offer the same missions, thanks for the info!
  2. Hi again, I have a few more questions for you all

I'm a bit of a completeist and was wondering on the contact system in the game, particularly on the Hero side.

I understand that there's a contact for each origin and at either Atlas Park/Galaxy City, for about levels 1-5, I understand that..later levels I don't understand though. I know after you hit level 5 you're sent to a different contact for your specific origin. From what I've read there appears to be a small list of contacts for you to be sent to at different levels.

My question is, because I'm a bit (understatement of the year), of a completeist can I either, Turn off XP gain so I can go to all the available contacts for my level/origin, or can I go back to contacts that are available for me, yet I have not yet been introduced to in the flashback system.

Also, for the flashback system, if I didn't do an available mission from a contact, can I go back and do the mission I missed?

Sorry for the Wall of Text...again, and don't worry I have not been hung up by this, I was just wondering.

    Thanks again!
  3. Yeah...I really haven't done any AE, just coming from the perspective from one who's been around the MMO community awhile, (I played COH beta then moved on, sadly), user-generated content is at a premium and COH/COV stands out in that it does offer AE.

Don't worry, I promise I won't turn into an AE baby.

    Edit: Spelling
  4. Yeah, AE is nice, but I was planning on doing the other content first
  5. Ah, I see thank you

From what I've seen the game appears to have gotten better from the beta and it does appear to have a wealth of things to do, with the Architect...well, let's just say I'm super-excited to come back into an MMO where users can generate their own content.

    Thanks again
(To be honest, COH was my first MMO, so I feel like I am coming home)
  6. Hi, obviously by the thread title I'm new to the game...not really... I played alllll the way back when the game was still in beta, but...I haven't played the game since.

I've just recently fled from the well...um, Elitism that is World of Warcraft and I was wondering how this game stacks up.

    Here are my questions:
    1. Is there an End-game? (For instance, at least on a PVE standpoint are there places in the game where groups of people can take on colossal tasks, like raids in WoW-terms)
    2. Is the community as Elitist or as immature as WoW's?
    3. It is an old game, so...how large is the player-base?
    4. How in-depth is the game?
    5. Finally, how much "stuff" is there to do when you hit the level cap?

Sorry for the wall of text, any help would be appreciated

(Really, I am trying to go cold turkey on World of Warcrack so....I'm just looking for a game to play for my MMO fix so I don't go back to my addiction...)

    Thanks again!
