Anyways, I am looking for some books where draconic characters are the protagonists of the stories. Remembering then, I realize most are more like children’s books, but I had fun with them. I would not be opposed at all to something MUCH more actiony or full of drama. Of course, the main thing is that the dragon has a personality of some kind that you love, hate, love to hate or hate to love. as for books with "Dragon" Characters. thats sort of hard when asking for good, but here is one its older and you may have already read them,

There's a series out there, can't remember the name, that combines dragons and napleonics. The first book is quite good.

It's quite a good series, starting off with His Majesty's Dragon in 2006 and continuing for another four books with the most recent one, Victory of Eagles being released in America in July of 2008.
The Crystal Witch gave it a 'solid' rating and said it was a 'very good read'.
