Special Lethal damage?

I noticed in the detailed information on some of the stalker attacks it says "Special Lethal" -- What does this mean? Its less resisted?

Could be in reference to the "critical" portion of the damage. I'll look into it when i'm in game next.

The Special Lethal is part of how Stalkers critical works.
Specifically the scaling crit chance based on team members, as well as the crit from hidden.

I think crit from hidden is a separate thing from the teammate-based crit, since both can happen simultaneously.

Really? so Double crits are possible? I thought the system was coded specifically to prevent that from happening.

Well, maybe not, I don't play Stalkers. But I've heard that certain powers, at least, can double crit.

Actually the double crit thing is really lag related. Some how the server gets behind with the data it sends to the client and it happens to be off time when its supposed to check for double crits. Everytime I have had it double crit for me there was always a red spike on the netgraph. Whats crazy is sometimes you can really leverage this on an ITF during the 3rd mission with all the hella lag. I know I have timed the hide supression as low as 3 seconds during part when you go up the hill due to the lag. We are talking like major crits here. I even sometimes get a double Assassin Strike at times. Nothing like seeing a boss go from full to almost empty in 1 hit.

It's not really a "double" Assassin Strike. When you get a random scaling crit outside of Hide with Assassin Strike you still see the words "Assassin Strike" float up but it's really a 1.0x normal crit rather than AS's special 1.8x crit from Hide.

So when this sync bug happens to allow a double crit and you're using AS, you see two "Assassin Strike" reports in the heads-up, but in combat log you'll see it's one 1.8x crit and one 1.0x crit.

Not that that isn't nice.
