any way to copy files over from the coh program files to sync with test to bypass the long download?

Yep.

Start the normal progress for creating the Training Room folder. Cancel as soon as the folder is there. Copy all the files from your existing City of Heroes folder over into the Training Room folder. Then run the Training Room update procedure again. It will recognize the files and download the difference. So it'd update I15 CoH to whatever patch they're running in I16 closed beta right now.

I've never heard of this or seen it...

This should be archived up somewhere or something like that.

And I just added "test server" and "install" as tags.

The other thing is, make sure before resuming the download to delete any files with checksum in their name - this will be inside the main folder where the CoHupdater.exe, etc, are.

When I do it, I rename Coh.checksum to CohTest.checksum. That way the updater doesn't have to recreate it.
