CoH Badges as Steam Achievements?

I wonder if we could get (some? all?) of the in-game badges mirrored as steam achievements.

I'm not sure it's even worth the bother, to be honest. There are far too many badges in the game to apply as acheivements if you ask me, and even if you just picked a select few... what's genuinely acheivement-worthy out of hundreds of them, besides the L50 ones both sides? o_O

Steam counts achievements per user, not per character though, doesn't it? I can't see how that would work here.

Pick some of the more interesting ones and getting them with any alt can count.

None of the crap like the stupid epic badges that can only be obtained with AFK.

A game is not supposed to be some kind of... place where people enjoy themselves!

FYI the vault is backburnered, but not completely out in the dumpster. I asked about it, and it's a thing that all the devs (well, the originals, not their whole new crew) feel really bad about. Thing is, it's NOT their fault that it didn't work right. They had to use a third party to get something going, and that third party apparently kept changing things, and messing it up. So, I'm pretty sure it's still on the table, just not as important as getting actual in-game things out.
