as Ood Sigma said....We will sing to you, Doctor. The universe will sing you to your sleep. This song is ending. But the story never ends.

Welcome Taco!
And yes, this game is a breeding ground for RP.
Great thing about this game is it IS flexible. We have your average superheroes, we have magical girls (heck we even have magical catgirls!), sorcerers and sorceresses, demons, angels, mutants, men (and women) in black, secret agents, aliens, vampires, furries (including the aformentioned catgirls), warriors, Jedi and Sith (no, not kidding! We have a Jedi SG on the server..no, I'm not one of them)...if it appeared in a comic book, we probably have them running around here. In some cases, even if it never appeared in a comic book...
And then, there are the booster packs...Go check out the store.
Been here two months now, still loving it for RP and the levelling...! And don't be afraid to reroll.. (I had to reroll one of my toons 4 times before I got her right..) That is actually part of the fun....
And that's what this is all about, right?

Mmmmmm breakfast talk in the Rookery.
Oh wait... HELLO!!! Welcome to Virtue!
*Gets distracted at the smell of Pamcakes.*
Had a bit of team grinding just yesterday, actually. It was actually pretty fun since we just kinda charged in and attacked anything that moved.
I think I'm pretty satisfied with one character as she is now, although the other one... Her face still bothers me. REROLL
And thanks for the warm welcomes, everyone! I'll probably be picking of the Good vs. Evil set this Monday since Gamestop has it for $10. Do I still need to buy a seperate game card/game-time card or attach a credit card to the account to use that, though? I got a little confused there after looking through some stuff in the support section of CoH.
Yay for average superheroes.

As for using the cards, I agree the NC support pages get a bit confusing. The way I understand it, is that you can use the game cards but you will still need to pick a "billing option" somewhere along the line. So, you may need a credit card or paypal option to attach to the account.
NOTE: Remember to use the "apply serial code" and UPGRADE when you move up to full account status. Not sure how that works when using the boxed version, maybe someone else has more details on how that works. I do know that if you use the "create new account" option, you will lose everything you've worked on in your trial account.
Last, but certainly not least, WELCOME to our addiction!

YUMMY Low-Hanging Fruit for BASE LUV
Just started playing this a few days ago and I'm still on the trial period since I'm on the fence as to whether I should buy the full version or not. Semi-longtime RPer (more than 5 years by now), general dislike of MMOs like Ragnarok Online and World of Warcraft for all the grinding.
So far, I've got two characters (link in the signature) and I'm planning on remaking one or both of them since I haven't done much levelling with either of them and my ideas for the characters keeps changing.
Here's hoping that I'll be around here for a while after the trial period ends!
