pb or ws! NAW, pb AND ws. quick question..
Well, if you go with tri-form on both, then you'll get a pretty similar experience, especially if you spend any significant amount of time in the nova or dwarf forms... There are differences here and there in those forms, but those are very slight.... However, if you plan on spending any significant amound of time in human form in either one or both of them, I'd say, yes, it will be a quite different experience....

Once you get a little higher, the differance is moe noticiable. Like the fact that a PB can only use his god mode with human form moves, where as a WS can change. A PB has a self heal, a WS needs dead bodies, the PB pets are VERY temp., where as WS stick around for a while. PB has build up, WS has 2 aoe build ups(work alot like dark melee if you looked at that at all). Basicly, the nova/crab form are very similiar, but the support you have to go with them are drasticly diffrent. A WS need enimies to do alot of things(wheter dead or alive) where as a PB is a little more self reliant. You will notice this from I would say mid to high 20's on.
Ok thanks for the info guys, i think on my PB ima stick to triform, an go more human oriented wit my WS. its seems WS has more to offer in human. So i guess my PB can be a shape changeing maniac! an my WS can use them jus situationaly. thank u

Still I hope you enjoy both toons! If you have any questions about powers etc there are plenty of answers to be found here too

British by act of union, English by grace of God, Northern by pure good fortune!
I enjoy constant form-shifting on both my TriFormShade(s) and TriFormPB. It gives me this odd pleasure to annoy packs of enemies (conning purple to me) totally unprotected in Nova, only to meet them face to face on the ground in Dwarf form.
Sometimes I rinse repeat this exercise on purpose, just to kite them all over the map, if it's an outdoor map, of course.

Alright, this will sound like I'm picking a fight and I'm not. But...
Why do people think when you Tri-Form your giving up alot of slotting on the more useful human powers?
It's kinda weird to me as Darkstar describes my build as "less into the forms than hers" and for the most part my forms are high on acc, almost at the damage cap in most cases with plenty of recharge and endurance reduction.
And most of my human (non-duplicated by the forms) powers are 5 slotted besides.
I just can't understand the concept that if you take the forms your giving up on alot of the strength of the human side idea. It just don't mesh with my experience.
If you PL'd to 50 just to get an "epic" thinking you'd be ber, you're going to be sorely disappointed with the HEATs, because the VEATs were designed so that anyone with one good finger and a braincell can rock the toggles.

Nevermind, It's clear now. You don't actually need the forms because your damage is as good in human form with the right "play-style" and human can tank just as well as dwarf form with well slotted toggles, perma-eclipse and a few breakfrees.
The forms are actually kind of a waste given all that.

Ok a couple days ago i got my first 50! *congrats himself* And needless to say out of curiosity and excitement i quickly made my first EAT, which was a peacebringer. Now he is lvl 24 and a very succesful Triform. BUT also out of curiosity i rolled a Warshade today to try that out to. Now at lvl 9, so far they seem VERY similar. My question is it is a waste of time to try an level them both? by a waste i mean will it seem like im playing the same toon? my lvl 50 was a claws/regen scrapper. an i wouldnt play another claws/regen to 50 cuz i want a different experience.
Basically will i be getting a different experience playin a WS an PB both to 50. THANKS
