Fire/WP build help wanted =)

I currently have a lvl 50 fire/Wp scrapper (first 50 hero), and i wanna bit of help with the build, atm im hardly slotted at all and i have trouble dealing with EB's sometimes, so there is something desperately wrong here.

so i was hoping someone could give me a little help, i would post my build but i can hardly use mids so ill post the powers i have instead.

Would truely like to see a build here. It seems you have the makeup of a decent one, aside from a couple things (I'd dump scorch), but you should still be getting in the 30's 40's in Res...try to read a guide about mids and such at least to post it up, because these powers aren't bad, but can be a problem if not slotted right youare definitiely not getting the potential out of the power/build.

Like you, I recently dinged my first 50 and he too was a Fire/WP scrapper. I never had any problems with EB's, to be honest I never really had a problem with anything, the combo is just a beast. And I took scorch and slotted it and love it.

I'll be back with a Mid's build later, but I didn't invest heavily in him (my first high level toon) and I still felt fairly sturdy and dished out some serious pain. I know I had mostly 6-slot sets in the attacks of Mako's, ToD's and Scirrocco's so nothing major. I used Air Superiority and Fly for my travels, and went the Leadership route at 47 and 49. I'm kind of scratching my head at you picking up Conserve Power, with QR and Stamina my end bar never moves even with all the defensive, fighting and leadership toggles.

I've recently seen a post around here concerning soft-capping typed defenses in a willpower toon, but haven't followed through with it in game yet (my new focus is a level 45 BS/SD scrapper who is really going through the expensive IO's).

Whats the Resistences with that though? Because On my WP build I am sitting in the same boat, no purps and very very capable, and must be curious as to why I seen conserve power as well, musta missed it last time around.

Something to look into as a small tweak for WP surviveability is the Dark Watcher's Despair -rech proc in Rise to the Challenge. While the effect is subtle, it does have a tendency to smooth out damage coming in, especially after diving into the center of a large group. The periodic proc-ing takes damage and spreads it out (as well as reducing the actual amount of damage coming in). This smoothing out effect allows for greater player reactivity (and thus survivability, via insps or the Tier 9.
