The arch is made up of three pieces... since you didn't take your pic either from directly straight on or from the side, it apppears that it is a continuous arch with kinks in it.
The angles you chose emphasize the joints on the three pieces of the polygons that make up the arch.
However, to answer your question yes I see the kinks. I am just very aware of spacial relations.. A high res monitor helps too.

go take a look for yourself the lower most segment is indeed at an angle to the remaining segments. I chose the angles i did because that is how i noticed the kink. I am aware of spacial relations as well and i did believe that my eye's did decieve me until i took a closer look. also 1440x900 may not be the best monitor available (although 4 years ago when i bought it, it was much higher up the resolution totem pole) but certainly not scoff worthy as you make it sound.
Again it's not like this is a mysterious place only a veteran player can travel to, go look for yourself.
@ dark ether, yeah i kinda figured what can i say i like miss direction and a little innuendo, perhaps you can come up with something more kinky?

Btw the Kink in the arch has always bothered me. along with some other faux paus in the geometery of the game.

so i was in oro and foolin around and my eye caught this...it's a kink, in the arch. the first person i asked couldn't see it...but he was a guy so...yeah but the second person i asked could see it. can you?
