The new forums really screwed up our formatting and whatnot. I think we're just about set with our new format and hosting, but I'll leave one of the EiCs to elaborate.

Well, I'm one of the aforementioned Editors-in-Chief, so I'll pick up the ball on this one.
If you remember what the Scoop used to look like... well, here's a link to the LAST Scoop (on the 21st of July) - you'll notice that what it's supposed to look like and what it does look like doesn't precisely match anymore.
Unfortunately, we're having difficulties fixing the layout issues, and we can't get it to look any better than that. We've got an entire issue proofed and ready to go, but the new forums are defeating us every time we turn around.
HOWEVER! The City Scoop is not dead! We're working on solutions! As soon as we have something in place, we'll be back, and let everyone know where our next issue is!
Anyone who has an interest in assisting the Scoop in any way is welcome to PM me.

Or instead of displayed on the forums, maybe on an html page? A new website titled www.thecityscoop.com or something... or maybe CoH will host it themselves?

In the first City of Heroes novel Web of Arachnos, Monica Richter (aka Maiden Justice, Statesman's wife, Ms. Liberty's grandmother, Lord Recluse's sister) was a reporter for a newspaper called the Paragon City Free Press. (For the record, though, I registered the domain well before the novel was published, I didn't steal the name.)
If using the new forums is just not practical for whatever reason and you want to use that domain name and install some CMS software (e.g. Joomla!, PostNuke, etc.) or roll out your own software, let me know. You can even have the logo if you want it.
The only thing I'd ask is that if you ever decide to move off of the domain, transfer it back to me. With its history, I don't want it to end up a porn site or ad parked site.
We've been saving Paragon City for eight and a half years. It's time to do it one more time.
