The entire room has been flickering like that for awhile actually for me. I've bugged it occasionally, but I think it started with i13 or so.
First time I've seen it. It might be because I haven't run a LGTF in a while.

Yeah it did it for me too, it's been that since at least i13. Sorry again for the slow LGTF :\ I need to learn how to speed it, wiki didn't give me that much helpful info.
speeding the LGTF is pretty simple,
Mission 1- Have someone with team recall vet stay at the door, Find Penny and free her. Have the person at the door tp everyone back and kill the AV.... next
Mission 2 - just kill the EB, try to target Famine first, then Pestilence, Death then War
Mission 3 - Find the first psychic free her and let her die. The second one will spawn and you just have to find her and let her die also.
Mission 4 - (hami) go around Hami and destroy the pylons, ignore the rikti and they will start attacking Hami. Just then go around like a normal raid attacking Yellow, Blue, Green mitos ( I like to do it in that order). Hami is easy after that.
Mission 5 - Stealth 
go to the entrance of the last room, tp everyone there. Pull the AV and kill him. When Hero 1 spawn just pull him and do the same thing. Make sure the person with the temp power hits him. Once he's down just destroy the 4 pylons and your done
This should take around 45min
There is a spot right as you enter the last room where the graphics go silly. In the hall is fine. Past that spot in the main room is fine. Just something with that little patch as you transition into the last room.
