Need two bases for filming purposes...

One is a very mystical, dark magic, almost demonic base.

The other a very high tech, black ops, military-looking base.

I've got characters (or can create them if necessary), and am willing to work around folks' schedules.

If your SG or VG has a base that meets one of these looks, and you're willing to let me into the base long enough to film, please post a link to a couple of pictures of your base, and state your global, the SG or VG name, and the server name. I should be able to complete the filming in an hour or less, and will be happy to credit your SG/VG in the video's end credits.

Suggestions will be accepted through August 31st, 2009.

Um, people, notice this? Dark Respite wants bases FOR FILMING! If I had what she was looking for I'd be all over this. Here's your chance people!

Thanks very much for the compliment, Pyro... your base looks quite spiffy! (As does Leiter's!) I'm getting ideas for the shots I want - at least the ones that can be shot in a base, that is... others I need specific mission maps for, which means it's either off to the MA or doing the arc if the map's not available.

I will definitely keep yours in mind!

Looking at them now, GH. Before I forget, I gotta tell you I LOVE that room with the chaise longue and the fireplace. That room I might have to use for filming an entirely different project.

And holy CRAP, that long shot down the red hallway with the statue at the end is AWESOME... The teal is a bit jarring, but other than that... whoa.

*mind already racing with the filming possibilities*

I might have to use more than one base... these are GOOD!

The Paragon Arcanum is a pretty mystic base, though not exactly demonic. Here's a slideshow (from when we were in the Scoop) - see if any of the rooms work for you.

You may also want to check EnnVee's archives from her Scoop articles for others who missed your thread.

The images were lightened a bit for the purpose of the slideshow, but can be adjusted darker if you want them done that way.

Thanks DR,I have to say the room with the fireplace/lounge is also my favorite room.Glad to know someone else likes it as much as I do And yes,I wish I could make the chaise lounge black leather,but unfortunately all I get is that fugly green/teal color

WOW...That's all I can say.It is awesome knowing we have such great artists playing CoH/CoV. I have seen such great base designs it just amazes me. To think we have taken an item and made it into something you would never expect to see it used as is...well... genius.
So a BRAVO to all base builders out there. 3 cheers to you all!!

*mutters* Granted, I just about got shafted on what the licensing fees for the cue I wanted to use would cost.

This may not work given the requirements of your project, but have you considered using rooms from multiple bases? With only trivial editing you could have a 'virtual base' of any size and layout. Have the base designer seal off exits (on the far side, so you still have the doorway) with the blank whiteboards for a simple blue-screen type effect and paste in the view of the 'adjacent' room.
